About AIFindsDeal

We surface real deals across major retailers and benchmark every price against its 90-day low โ€” so a marked-up MSRP can't be sold to you as a discount.

What we do

AIFindsDeal aggregates discount listings from the major US deal feeds, normalizes the data (currency, discount math, retailer fingerprint), and scores every listing against its own 90-day price history before deciding whether it's worth showing on the homepage. Anything that doesn't beat its recent baseline never makes the cut, regardless of what the seller's "Sale!" sticker says.

Why this exists

Most affiliate "deal" sites are lightly-warmed retailer feeds. The seller raises the strikethrough price by 30%, drops it 25%, and the headline reads "25% off" โ€” except you're now paying more than you would have last month. That pattern is endemic across mattresses, small appliances, branded apparel, and the entire holiday-sales calendar.

We don't run a referral arbitrage and we don't get paid by retailers to promote anything. Every listing here lives or dies by whether its current price actually beats its own 90-day baseline. That's the entire editorial standard.

How a deal makes the page

Every deal we track goes through four checks before it can rank:

  1. Crawl freshness โ€” the price was observed within the last hour.
  2. Outbound link health โ€” the retailer page is live (we re-verify continuously and remove dead links).
  3. Discount integrity โ€” the current price is below the 90-day median, not just below today's strikethrough.
  4. Score threshold โ€” the composite deal score (discount magnitude + price tier + product match confidence) passes our floor.

The full scoring formula and tunable knobs are documented in How We Score Deals. Tier-1 affiliate sites typically don't publish this; we do because if you're going to trust the rankings here, you should be able to audit them.

Editorial standards

  • No paid placement. We accept zero compensation from any retailer or brand for placement, ranking, or article inclusion. Affiliate links earn a small commission on Amazon orders only and that revenue does not influence which deals appear.
  • Real prices, real moments in time. Every price is timestamped to its last crawl. Crawls run hourly. The price you see is the price the retailer was charging within the last 60 minutes โ€” not a stale snapshot from a week ago.
  • 90-day price history is on the page. Click any deal to see the full 90-day chart; no obfuscation, no aggregated "average savings" tricks.
  • We retract. If we publish something incorrect โ€” wrong category, wrong price, mislabeled retailer โ€” and you tell us, we fix it within 24 hours and note the change at the bottom of the page.
  • AI assists, humans decide. Title parsing, image extraction, and category classification use machine learning. Editorial choices โ€” which campaigns to run, which articles to publish, when to pull a deal โ€” are made by people.

How we make money

Two streams, both transparent:

  • Amazon Associates โ€” clicking through to Amazon from a tracked deal earns us a small commission on items you buy in the next 24 hours. The commission is paid by Amazon out of their margin; you don't pay more because you came through us. This is disclosed on every Amazon outbound link and on the disclaimer page.
  • AdSense โ€” Google serves a small number of ads in the deal feed. Ads are clearly labeled "Sponsored" per AdSense policy and they are never mixed into the editorial deal rankings.

We do not sell your data. The full breakdown of what we collect, retain, and share is on the privacy page.
