About 53% of the deals we track at any given moment live below the $25 line — and contrary to the assumption that anything cheap must be junk, this tier is where consumables, kitchen accessories, organization, beauty, and small-format electronics are at their most competitive. Manufacturers run real margin promotions here because the absolute dollar discount is small but the conversion lift is large.

What we've learned watching this tier rotate hourly:

• Kitchen tools and small appliances are where the most consistently real discounts live. Branded silicone, knives under $20, USB rechargeables, and air-fryer accessories all see frequent 30%+ markdowns that beat their 90-day baseline (not just the strikethrough).
• Beauty and personal care tier-1 brands occasionally drop premium SKUs into this range during inventory clear-outs — these are the deals worth tracking with a price alert because they tend to last only a day or two.
• Cables, chargers, and adapters are mostly noise. The "70% off" headline number is almost always against an inflated list price; the actual delta vs. last month's typical price is often in the 10–20% range. Our scorer accounts for this and most don't make the cut.
• Books and media are surprisingly good value here — publisher discounting on hardcovers and Kindle deals can hit genuine 50%+ off compared to the multi-month baseline.

• "Hot" sorting blends our deal score with a freshness decay so a strong new finding outranks a slightly higher-scored deal that's been sitting for a day. Use this when you're browsing.
• "Biggest discount" sorting ranks by raw discount-percentage. Counter-intuitively this is often not what you want, because the largest paper discounts skew toward retailers with the most-inflated MSRPs. We do scrub those before they rank, but the very top of "biggest discount" still tilts that way.
• Click "Track Price" on any item and we'll email you the moment the price drops further. Especially useful in this tier because the absolute dollar swings are small but the percentage swings can be meaningful.

What we filter out before this list

If you've used a few deal sites you've seen the patterns we don't pass through: $0.99 throwaway listings whose shipping cost makes them money-losers, "limited time" perpetual sales, and bait listings whose Amazon page redirects to a different SKU once you click.
